On 7 November 2025, Arbor Talent Ltd. hosted an international seminar titled “Innovative Technologies in Vocational Education” at its Budapest headquarters. The event was part of the Erasmus+ project “AR and VR in Welding” and focused on how augmented and virtual reality-based simulators can enhance skill development and training efficiency in vocational education.
The seminar was opened by Gábor Kertész, Managing Director of Arbor Talent Ltd., followed by a project presentation by Lucyna Białk Cieślak (CKZiU Janina Lewandowska Vocational School) and Damian Jankovski (Technica Spawalnicza). Participants had the opportunity to observe live demonstrations of welding simulators and explore the effectiveness of simulation-based training compared to real-life practice.
We were especially honoured to welcome Prof. Dr. Marcell Gáspár from the University of Miskolc, who presented Hungarian best practices through the COVE-WENDT project. His insightful contribution highlighted the intersection of technological innovation, higher education, and vocational training in the context of sustainable development.
The event concluded with a hands-on session, allowing participants to test the equipment and experience its educational potential firsthand. Held in English, the seminar fostered international dialogue, professional exchange, and new partnerships.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all speakers and participants for making this event a success!
The workshop was organised in the framework of Erasmus + project: Application of innovative technology – Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) – in practical vocational training: new experiences for Students and Teachers using devices employing advanced digital technology in welding
