Summer has finally arrived and we can all breathe in and out a bit: the borders are gradually opening and our Erasmus + programs can slowly continue and get back to normal. The online meetings and trainings are happening for real, and we have again ongoing mobilities and successful encounters and joint learning.
Since our establishment, we have been striving to provide a colorful training offer for international professionals working in the field of education and social development. One of the courses we have developed is “STEAM for the Development of Transversal Abilities.”
STEAM itself in brief is an acronym (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) for a modern, interdisciplinary approach to scientific research and innovation that is increasingly prevalent in school education using the subjects listed above.
STEAM is attracting more and more professionals in education, as it provides opportunities and tools for those working in the field of education that facilitate the transfer of knowledge to the youngsters and playfully combine new knowledge with a wealth of practice.
We are now happy to report on the training we have created: it has been tried out and it was proved to be working! We recently welcomed our first group of teachers from Turkey for 5 days. Together, we sought answers to questions such as how innovative approaches to STEAM education develop transversal skills and what tools support innovative approaches to STEAM education. The team was really enthusiastic they have developed a lot during these few days. We are confident that they will enrich their further school work with lots of new ideas and methods. Thank you again, for coming and participating in our course!
